CrossPointe KIDS is about pointing kids to Jesus. We believe children are a gift from God. And while the primary responsibility for spiritual upbringing is for parents (Deut. 4:9, 6:7, 11:19; Psalm 78:1-8; Ephesians 6:1-4), we believe the church community is to equip and assist parents in raising kids to love Jesus.
CrossPointe KIDS is not just about information, but transformation. We not only teach Bible stories, but we teach kids how Jesus is the hero of every Bible story. It's all about Jesus. In fact, our hope is the same for adults and kids - we want them to be pointed to Jesus. We are not interested in simply modifying a kid's behavior. We're after a transformation of their hearts. A changed heart will result in godly character and choices.
What to Expect
We're so excited that you're thinking about joining us soon! You're probably wondering what to expect on any given Sunday. First, we have an amazing team of volunteers who will be in place to receive your kid(s) beginning at 9:40am. If it's your first time, we encourage you to come as early as 9:40am to register your kid(s) into our computerized check-in system. This system is designed to get all the necessary information from you in order to keep your kid(s) safe. Need some help? We always have people available to help guide you through the process.
During our Sunday morning gathering we offer childcare for infants and toddlers and a service for K - 5th grade students.
After checking in, our volunteers will direct you to one of our classrooms, where a teacher and/or helper will welcome your kid(s). All of the K-5th students will be brought back into the service after the sermon, typically a little after 11am. You can expect our adult service to wrap up at around 11:30am.
We'd love to have you join us! We're here to serve you and your family. So, if you have any questions about CrossPointe KIDS, please don't hesitate to ask. In fact, feel free to email Chris Johnson
